Cosmetic Lesion Removal, Performed by a Board-Certified Dermatologist

Seborrheic keratoses, skin tags, milia, and other benign growths are harmless, but that doesn't make them easy to live with when they're on your face. At Grace Dermatology, Dr. Lina Kennedy removes them in a single visit, with an eye toward leaving the surrounding skin exactly as it was.

Why See a Dermatologist for Lesion Removal

Not every bump is what it appears to be, and the first step is knowing what you're treating. Dr. Kennedy evaluates each growth before removing anything, so nothing that needs a closer look gets treated as cosmetic. From there, the method is matched to the lesion, what works for a seborrheic keratosis isn't what works for milia. Her dermatology training also means she's treating these on every skin tone, including the deeper tones where technique matters most for avoiding discoloration afterward.

Your Experience at Grace Dermatology

Consultation

Dr. Kennedy examines each growth to confirm what it is before anything is treated. She'll go over which lesions can be removed, what to expect from the result, and what the visit will cost.

Treatment

Numbing cream is applied first and takes 30 to 60 minutes to work. Each lesion is then treated individually, about 30 minutes for a full face. Plan on roughly an hour and a half in the office.

Results

Treated areas scab lightly and flake off over the following one to two weeks. Most patients see final results once healing is complete, with no further sessions needed.
